Situated next to Xakanaxa Lagoon in a famously rewarding area of Botswana's Moremi Game Reserve, Camp Okuti offers a fabulous retreat in a classic wildlife sanctuary where the peaceful surroundings will relax you as much as the dramatic game viewing will thrill you. It's a year-round destination set on the fringes of the Okavango Delta and makes for a perfect safari for first-time visitors to Botswana.

Enjoy exciting morning and afternoon game drives in a specially designed safari vehicle, allowing for close encounters with the area's abundant big game and numerous other animals. You will also cruise across deep lagoons and along winding reed-lined channels by motorboat, perhaps visiting a huge heron and stork breeding site. Alternatively, set out on a fly or spin-fishing excursion along the edge of Xakanaxa Lagoon, or simply relax on the communal deck watch the wildlife go by.

Enjoy specially-prepared meals in Camp Okuti's semi-open dining area. Depending on your preference, you could also dine in the open-air boma under the stars or in a more private setting of your choice.

Okuti's chefs use only the freshest possible ingredients and combine African and Western styles to ensure a wonderful meal.

Standard Tent

Camp Okuti consists of five stunning twin-bed units and an additional two two-bedroom family unit. Each of these curved-roof chalets are set on raised teak decks which extend to offer a viewing platform of the river and its floodplains.

The main units feature an en suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, a flush toilet and hot and cold running water.
