overview

Situated on an exclusive estate in Gauteng, Tintswalo at Waterfall offers an intimate, elegant place to relax and enjoy nature without being too far away from the city. The hotel has a rustic feel with thick, stone-clad walls and double-volume spaces and is ideal for those who enjoy comfortable country living.

Enjoy 360 degree views of the beautiful estate, listening to the birdcalls and sounds of croaking frogs as you stroll along one of the walking trails. If you feel like venturing further out, then the rhino and lion park will give you a taste of the African wild. Traveller Reviews

  • Tintswalo is such a nice quiet hotel to come to after our train journey. We had a surprise, - when we met a young tour guide, Simon, at Soweto - whose company you used in 2012 to take us to the Cradle of Humankind. We invited him to join us for a meal at Tintswalo. He is about to set himself up in a small way in his own similar business.
