Jaci's Tree Lodge is an intimate safari lodge situated in the malaria-free Madikwe Private Game Reserve and is popular with families and children.

Go on game drives in the Madikwe Game Reserve, relax in the lounge area which has a fireplace to warm the cooler winter evenings, and sunbathe at the small pool during the heat of the afternoon. Visit the safari hide, situated on a deck that overlooks a waterhole which is often visited by thirsty animals.

Facilities

Jaci's Tree Lodge boasts an exciting safari hide located on a deck that overlooks a waterhole.

The suites are connected to the main lodge by raised wooden walkways suspended in the forest canopy along the banks of the Marico River.

After a day of game drives and wildlife spotting, cool off in the small swimming pool before enjoying a pre-dinner sundowner in the bar-lounge area.

Dining

The large dining area in the main lodge is where guests may enjoy their fill of deliciously prepared breakfasts, lunch or high tea. Refreshing sundowners can be sipped in the cosy lounge area of Jaci's Tree Lodge, while looking out over the dense African bush. Jaci's Lodge also caters meals for children.

Standard Tree House

Jaci's Tree Lodge offers eight Tree Houses built on stilts, each encompassing a giant Tamboti or Leadwood Tree. The Tree Houses are decorated in bright reds and greens and are complemented by modern African interiors.

Each Tree House has a private balcony - an ideal spot from which to watch resident mongoose families play on the riverbanks. Tents also feature an en suite bathroom which offers a relaxing soak in an enormous stone bath, handmade copper taps and for something adventurous, there is also an outdoor shower.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, fans and under-floor heating to ensure maximum comfort no matter what the season.
