Traveller Reviews

  • From the moment we walked in the door at around 2am to the moment we left we could not fault the rooms, food, service and ambience. We stayed in the Safari room at first and when we returned from our visit to the Mara we were very pleasantly surprised to find that we had been allocated the Malaika Suite for our final 3 days. We were celebrating our Ruby Wedding Anniversary and were treated to a wonderful evening, which was followed by a special cake. The team of staff make this Hotel special and they are so genuinely attentive. The birdsong in the peaceful garden enable the guest to completely relax and we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. ASANTE SANA to all at the House of Waine for making our special Anniversary an unforgettable one!

  • House of Waine - absolutely fantastic! Amazing service from start to finish, and Nick had contacted them to arrange a surprise birthday dinner for me, which they set up in a private area just for the two of us with an open fire and rose petals everywhere. The room was beautiful and also filled with gorgeous rose petals, and the garden areas and setting really made you feel a world away from the city. It was such a fabulous place - I would absolutely recommend it and wish we were there for longer!
