Set above the Uaso Nyiro River and overlooking the Samburu plains towards Mount Kenya, SaSaab Camp is a Moroccan-inspired tented camp situated in Kenya's Samburu National Reserve, a conservation area well-known for its mix of classic savannah animals and some of northern Kenya's more unusual species.

Go out on morning, afternoon and evening game drives as well as guided nature walks along the river. Back at camp, lounge on Moroccan-style cushions before a dip in the main swimming pool or in the privacy of your own plunge pool.

Go on morning, afternoon and evening game drives in the Samburu National Reserve, famous for its large elephant herds and unusual northern Kenya game species such as the gerenuk and Grevy's zebra.

You can also discover the area on mountain biking trails, on a camelback safari and through cultural interactions with local Samburu communities.

Back at Sasaab, unwind beside the main swimming pool before indulging in a beauty treatment in the privacy of your own tent.

At the end of the day, enjoy sundowner drinks from a rocky kopje, just a short distance from the camp or relax and enjoy the views from the lodge's raised terrace.

Dining

In accordance with the Moroccan theme, the cuisine at SaSaab Camp has a distinctly Moroccan influence and uses the highest quality fresh ingredients.

Meals are served in different areas of the mess tent or alfresco beneath a canopy of stars.

Standard Room

Sasaab Camp features nine spacious Moroccan-inspired tents, each with fantastic views. Each tent has a bedroom and sitting area, a ceiling fan, a large en suite bathroom, wireless internet and a private plunge pool.
