Traveller Reviews

  • Oliver's has been wonderful. Staff is very accommodating. Food very good. Oliver's even prepared a breakfast to go since we are leaving before the restaurant opens.

    Cynthia Porter, June 2014
  • We would like to thank you again for such a wonderful stay at Oliver's last week. The rooms were lovely, well cleaned, and very comfortable. In particular, the food was delicious and Jeanne was so accommodating with our children’s allergies and our vegan dishes. Pretty and Calvan did an excellent job with their service and we appreciated their hard work.

    Julie Abel, January 2014
  • We had no hiccups, and the accommodation at Olivers a was excellent, I'd highly recommend it!

    Paul Liesching, October 2013
  • We had a wonderful 3 nights there, the staff were brilliant, the food scrumptious and on Chris' birthday a beautiful cake appeared which was so appreciated and totally unexpected. We were all really sad to leave after such fantastic hospitality.

    Helena Roberts, July 2012
  • Oliver's lounge and the restaurant belonging with it is simply marvellous. I live in France and you know what they say about France. But the phrase could also have been "living and dining like God in Oliver's"; really superb place to stay (and celebrate your 50th birthday).

    Antonius Dinnissen, August 2011
  • We had a great time at Oliver's - it's a beautiful lodge and grounds are also beautiful. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful, and our cottage was extremely comfortable.

    Jenny McRae, May 2011
  • Very nice place, and very good restaurant. You were right, it was worthy to travel the extra miles to get there.

    Franck Soroste, August 2010
  • When we moved to Oliver's in White River we experienced a real contrast. This was probably the most beautiful and well kept accommodation offering the best and friendliest service which we had known before. The owner couple are a real treasure, the husband is named the best cook in the region.

    Peter Stifter, April 2010
  • Oliver's Lodge is really good and they upgraded our bedroom (they have such a good opinion of Go2Africa!!!). Two days are ok for this area.

    Roberta Piagneri, July 2009
  • Beautifully appointed rooms & wonderful service. It was a great way to start our post-race relaxation!

    Elaine Cheung, June 2009
