Within easy reach of the world-famous Kruger National Park, Oliver's Restaurant and Lodge is also conveniently located to access the Panorama Route, an area of dramatic scenery to the west of Kruger. Oliver's is family-owned and set in landscaped gardens with beautiful views across White River Golf Course, and this Austrian-styled lodge successfully combines luxurious accommodation with an easy-going, country feel. All the facilities of the White River Country Club are available to guests at Olivers.

These include an 18-hole championship golf course as well as tennis and squash courts. Golf enthusiasts also have the chance to play the exceptional Leopard Creek Golf Course, usually reserved for members only. Back at the lodge you can laze away the day next to the swimming pool or flip through colourful coffee table books on the veranda. The Wellness and Beauty Clinic has an enticing array of treatments ranging from aromatherapy full-body wraps to the ultimate foot massage.

Facilities

Find a sun lounger on the lawn next to the peaceful swimming pool or indulge in massages and treatments at the Wellness and Beauty Clinic.

Guests at Oliver's can make use of all the Country Club facilities such as golf, tennis and squash.

Curl up in the homely atmosphere of the cosy lounge where a fire is lit in the massive central fireplace each night.

Dining

Tanja runs front of house while Oliver whips up mouth-watering meals in his award-winning restaurant. His menu features both continental and Mediterranean dishes, complemented by a fine selection of wine from the well-stocked cellar. Tasty dinner choices range from grilled calamari and Mozambican prawn curry to mouth-watering German eisbein.

Lunch is served on the veranda where you can tuck into crunchy salads while looking out across the garden and golf course.

For a fun dining experience, try the Fondue Chinoise and Swiss Raclette, served in the private and romantic ambience of their wine cellar which can comfortably seat up to 10 people.

Rooms at Oliver's Restaurant and Lodge are individually furnished and usually have verandas or balconies overlooking the golf course. All rooms have spacious en suite bathrooms, each with a separate shower and bath.

Other Room Types

Indulge in the cosy cocoon of the Luxury Rooms which feature a little lounge area around a fireplace and large bathrooms with a romantic corner tub.

The two Executive Suites are far more spacious and feature a separate lounge plus a fireplace next to the four-poster bed and another to warm the sitting area. The double doors in the bathroom lead to a private outdoor shower.

Families or two couples travelling together may prefer the privacy of the Family Cottage. This private cottage has two double rooms, each with an en suite bathroom (showers only) and sharing a lounge with a fireplace, small kitchenette and veranda.
