1933 at Lion Sands is situated on the Sabie River banks, in the Lion Sands Private Game Reserve. Lion Sands has a well-earned reputation as one of Africa's best safari brands, and has been family-owned and managed since the early 30s (hence the name).

The main lodge has large windows, glass sliding doors and homely living areas, as well as a children's dormitory which can sleep up to 8 kids.

Sit back and take in the views of the river and surrounding bush from the outdoor living room, or enjoy absolute privacy on your own wooden viewing deck. The main lodge has a wrap-around balcony, allowing you to gaze out at the varied scenery.

This rich and diverse area allows for various game viewing activities. Game drives and bush walks are offered, where you have the opportunity to see a variety of game including lion, elephant, white rhino, leopard, cheetah and many more.

Exclusive Use

1933 at Lion Sands has 4 spacious suites.

All the suites have en-suite bathroom facilities, and additional outdoor showers with excellent views of the river. You can also enjoy the views from the private wooden viewing deck of your Kruger safari villa.

There is also a children's dormitory sleeping 8 children, with an additional room for an au-pair.
