Serenity Forest Eco Reserve Lodge is set deep in an indigenous forest just outside Malelane in South Africa’s Mpumalanga Province. The thatched lodges are built on stilts and draw their architectural style from traditional Swazi Beehive Huts. The romantic hideaway pampers with luxury and comfort in the midst of dense green foliage, streams and waterfalls.
The 1300 ha of surrounding forest are a sanctuary for birds, butterflies and varied wildlife. A number of marked hiking trails lead from the lodge through the varied landscape which encompasses tropical valleys, forested mountains, open grasslands, and waterfalls where you can stop to cool off.
