The Owner's Cottage at Grande Provence is an exclusive-use 5-bedroomed villa set on the Grande Provence wine estate in the heart of the Franschhoek Winelands. Surrounded by picturesque vineyards, it is a breathtaking place to relax and enjoy the mountain views while enjoying the region's legendary fine food and wine.

Perfect as a discreet and private getaway for families, groups of friends or couples, the historical Cape Dutch-style buildings on the estate offer an authentic Cape Winelands experience within easy access of specialized wine tours as well as the many boutique shops and award-winning restaurants that characterise this quaint French-influenced town.

Wander through the historical Cape Dutch buildings and absorb the deep sense of history, indulge in a massage next to the pool, dine in style at The Restaurant or spend the afternoon exploring the Franschhoek area - golf, hiking and local tours are among the favourite activities. Guests can also enjoy facials as well as yoga and pilates classes.

Daily housekeeping is provided, child-minders are available on request and the Cottage comes complete with private butler.

Vehicle transfers to and from Cape Town International Airport are provided for guests.

Of course, the working wine farm also offers various beautiful settings for sundowner picnics or leisurely vineyard strolls and wine tastings.

During harvest season there are many fun activities happening on the farm and it's quite an experience to get your feet dirty and participate in a bit of grape stomping. Enjoy a cellar tour and make it your business to get to know each wine produced on the farm.

Dining

Grande Provence is home to The Restaurant, a chic, industrial-style eatery with skylights and galvanised metals creating a contemporary working farm ambience. Enjoy two, three or four course dinners complemented of course by local wines - the staff will happily assist with a wine recommendation.

Leading off The Restaurant is the wine tasting area complete with a steel and black strapping bar, fireplace and upholstered chairs.

Exclusive Use

A testament to contemporary style and period grandeur, The Owner's Cottage at Grande Provence comprises four bedrooms, a deluxe honeymoon suite, conservatory, well-equipped kitchenette, lounge, swimming pool and a jacuzzi area with wonderful vineyard views.

The Owner's Cottage also offers internet facilities and satellite TV. Each room features king-size beds (which can be reconfigured as two singles if required) fitted with 400-thread count percale linen and feather or down pillows. The elegant en suite bathrooms are regularly stocked with local and eco-friendly Rain products as well as bathrobes and slippers.
