Meaning ‘place of Mopane trees’, Kapani lodge is an intimate and luxurious camp located on the banks of an ox-bow lagoon on the banks of the Luangwa River. Kapani offers an exclusive safari experience to its guests, accommodating a maximum of 20 guests at a time.

Overlooking the lagoon, the lodge offers an elegant thatched retreat in this untamed wilderness. Zambia's Luangwa Valley is regarded as the home of walking safaris. You will be accompanied by a trained guide and a naturalist to ensure a truly thrilling experience. Game drives are taken in safari vehicles seating no more than four passengers - so everyone has a great view. When you’re not out exploring, relax at the secluded swimming pool.

The main building houses a library, lounge, dining and bar area where you can relax between activities.

The secluded pool offers a great place to relax on a hot afternoon. The lodge also offers Internet facilities, a curio shop, and a laundry service.

Dining

A bar and dining area on the deck overlook the Kapani Lagoon, and provide a great vantage point from which to spot wildlife.

All house wines, beers and soft drinks are served on a complimentary basis, although a selection of premium wines and champagnes are available at an additional cost.

There are eight standard suites designed to blend with the African safari backdrop, incorporating ceiling fans, mosquito nets, and bar fridges, as well as en suite bathrooms.
