Periwinkle is a cheerful guest house on the beachfront, close to the Robberg Nature and Marine Reserve. During your stay here you can wake up to spectacular views of the ocean and Tsitsikamma Mountains.

This is a great homely base from which to explore Plettenberg Bay and the Garden Route. After breakfast you may want to slip down to the beach for a leisurely walk or to soak up some African sun.

For the more energetic, you can enjoy a 2 or 4-hour hike on the Robberg Peninsula. Golfing enthusiasts have a choice of 2 courses in Plett and are in close proximity to Knysna & George - both towns offering world class courses.

This stylish and beautifully decorated lodge is modern but retains a very homely atmosphere.

This stylish and modern guesthouse retains a very homely atmosphere with a large, light lounge area that opens through large glass doors onto a balcony with a swimming pool and spectacular views of the Ocean.

There is even a dry sauna and small gym for the health conscious.

Dining

Breakfast is served outdoors on the sunny patio overlooking the sea, or in the dining room around a communal table. A delicious afternoon tea with freshly baked cakes is offered on most days.

Dinner can be arranged on request. Alternatively, treat yourself to dinner at one of Plettenberg Bay's many restaurants. From international cuisine to coffee shops, fresh seafood to hamburgers, you're sure to find something to your taste.

Standard Room

Periwinkle Guest Lodge comprises 7 spacious en-suite bedrooms which are accessed by a number of stairs. The rooms are stylishly and individually decorated in bright and clean ocean colours.


The rooms are equipped with a bar fridge, satellite tv, cosy gowns and slippers and some even have fireplaces. 6 of the rooms have balconies from which you can enjoy views of the sea and mountains. Wide sliding doors in the fresh sea breeze.

  • It was beautiful, lovley rooms and views and the owner was EXTREMELY helpful, gave us some super advice about places to go. We spent the last night in the house which is lovely and suited us for that night as it was our only rainy day and so having the extra space indoors for the children was ideal. Monkeyland is EXCELLENT.

  • I loved it. It is a really great communal area which is huge with lounge, fire, views, etc. Def recommended. Went to Kynsna for the day, but really much preferred being in Plett. Much more scenic and relaxing.
