Traveller Reviews

  • Ongava has a fabulous setting. It is a lovely camp.

  • Sussosvlei was amazing.... more beautiful than expected. We also had a nice guide which made a big difference. I think 2 nights could be good enough since we did not do anything in the last day after the hot air balloon. The lodge is quite nice. I think the overall lodge organization was less impressive than Etosha. The hot air balloon was excellent and I would suggest it to everybody. It is a different perspective and you can see how immense the desert and the dunes are... the company you suggested was very nice, very knowledgeable and the landing breakfast quite good.

  • All the accommodation was excellent, our favourite being Ongava, so glad you booked 3 nights for us, and we observed a Rhino Notching re conservation which was a privilege to be part of .

    Carole Crocker, September 2013
  • A very nice dining area overlooking a watering hole. Room is too dark though. I don't recommend for those who are physically challenged as it's quite a hike down to the rooms and up again to the dining area.

  • Great accommodation with great views. Our guide was superb. It was certainly the best game viewing area we were at.
