Facilities

The swimming pool is set in a sunny spot and fringed by palm trees. Surrounded by a wooden deck, its design is reminiscent of a traditional Arabic sailing dhow and the bar and shaded seating offers a cool place to relax with a drink.

Alasiri Spa is located in the garden that surrounds the swimming pool and offers relaxing essential oil massages.

Unwind on the sun beds shaded by straw umbrellas while enjoying a massage by the professionally trained staff.

The library boasts a wide selection of books and magazines, as well as playing cards and board games, creating a great place to relax if you feel like escaping the sun.

Dining

In order to support community development, the ingredients of Pole Pole's cuisine are mostly organic and sourced from the local fishermen and farmers. Enjoy three delicious meals daily in the charming dining room and experience a special Swahili dinner once a week or upon your request. Relax on your veranda in the afternoon as you sip on a refreshing drink as the sun sets. Pole Pole also aims to meet all different dietary requirements.

Bungalow Suites

The seven bungalow suites at Pole Pole are perfectly blended with the surrounding tropical garden and all of them overlook the pristine Chole Bay. Built entirely out of wood and positioned on raised stilts, these suites are spacious and combine elegance with a rustic, natural feel.

Choose between a double or twin room with imported Italian linen, carved and antique furniture, and a bathroom with his-and-hers basins and a large shower. Walk out onto a large private veranda that features a Zanzibari day-bed, chairs and a coffee table as well as gauzy drapes.
