Savute Under Canvas is ideal for those who want an authentic safari in one of Botswana's legendary game viewing destinations. A mobile camp moving regularly to private locations, Savute Under Canvas is set at the heart of the Chobe National Park and comprises only five safari-style tents to create a very personal environment with a butler on hand to see to your individual needs.

The intimacy of the camp extends to the game drives: each vehicle is equipped to take a maximum of only six guests, ensuring that everyone has a window seat. Savute is an area famous for its big lion prides and hyena packs as well as hundreds of elephants - head out on twice-daily game drives into the Savute grasslands where from November to May you will also have the the opportunity to see the awe-inspiring annual zebra migration.

Savute Under Canvas is a traditional tented safari camp and its large canvas guest areas offer shade during the day while an open fire draws guests together in the evening to sip on drinks and comment on the day's activities.

Your needs at camp are seen to by a private butler while you relax in style, comfort and elegance.

Savute Under Canvas provides delicious Pan-African meals and traditional safari suppers served in the shady dining tent or under the stars.

Enjoy a cool drink around the camp fire before dinner and swop wildlife stories with your fellow adventurers.

Standard Tent

Savute Under Canvas is made up of five spacious and well-appointed canvas tents. Each tent is en suite and has a double bed, separate toilet, hot bucket shower and chairs on a canvas veranda. The tents are suitable for disabled guests, if assisted.
