Toka Leya is a secluded safari camp located 12km upstream from Victoria Falls on the Zambian banks of the Zambezi River. Set within the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, this contemporary tented camp is shaded by a canopy of jackalberry and waterberry trees and features an expansive deck where you can relax and take in amazing river and island views.
There's plenty to do in the area: take a tour of Victoria Falls - the world wonder is only 20 minutes away - and go on a game drive in the Mosi-oa-Tunya Park. You can also watch the sunset while on a river cruise, go fishing or explore Livingstone town. This region is known as Africa's adventure capital and many people come here for the epic whitewater rafting or bungee jumping; more sedate activities include elephant-back safaris, scenic flights and bird watching trips. Ideal for families with children over six years old, Toka Leya has three family tents with two bedrooms each, and the camp's pizzas are a real hit with the youngsters.
