Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve is an exclusive sanctuary set on a long stretch of private beach in the heart of the malaria-free Eastern Cape. Lounge in Oceana's beautifully decorated formal sitting area with its well-stocked bookshelves or sip a cocktail at the sophisticated horseshoe-shaped bar; both rooms lead out onto the extensive deck with wide-horizon views of the reserve and endless coastline.

Relax around the lodge's unique swimming pool (shaped like the African continent) or rejuvenate at the indulgent Spa.

You are sure to find something to take home at the curio boutique shop, and if it's a rainy day then unwind in the games room with its pool table, shuffle board, internet facilities and home entertainment system.

Those who prefer to be outdoors can practice their short game on the putting green or grab a fishing rod and head to the beach.

Dining

Oceana serves a sumptuous menu in the lodge restaurant but you are welcome to take your meal on the deck with marvellous views spread out before you. Picnic on the beach with a delicious basket prepared specifically to your tastes or indulge in private candle-lit dinners in your room or on your private deck.

Lodge Suite

Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve offers seven plush suites with enormous custom-made beds, a spacious lounge area, WiFi internet connection and satellite TV with DVD player. Best of all, they each have a private wooden deck with sweeping views of the beach and Indian Ocean.

The Ocean Suites are enormous, free-standing private suites with opulent, quality décor under high thatched ceilings. The extensive wooden decks with 180-degree views of the Eastern Cape coastline make you feel you’re in your own private lodge. Make use of the separate his and hers bathrooms and enjoy the view from the shower and jacuzzi bath.

The Private Ocean House is indeed your own private lodge complete with three large and luxurious en suite bedrooms, a formal lounge with a fireplace, bar and well-appointed dining room leading onto the deck and a private jacuzzi area. Your private chef will prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen on request. The entire house is exquisitely decorated with the most luxurious fittings, interesting artefacts and genuine antiques.
