Situated in the heart of the beautiful, undisturbed Lamu Island, the Palm House offers exclusive living for a group of 9-10 people. Ideal for friends who want to relax and soak up the tropical sun, this intimate, yet stylish house is the perfect base from which to explore this secluded paradise.

Situated only a few minutes walk to the seafront and the incredible Shela Beach, you can spend hours lounging on the pearly sand, dipping in the Indian Ocean or enjoying adventure sports like kite surfing, body surfing or water skiing. Visit the Lamu Museum to learn more about the island's history, take a quiet stroll to admire the prolific birdlife or simply unwind at your Swahili-styled home, enjoying a massage or watching the sunset from the rooftop bar.

The covered rooftop bar and dining area offers a private setting to enjoy sundowners and evening meals while admiring the panoramic views of these pristine surroundings.

Dining

All meals at Palm House are prepared by your private chef and are served in the rooftop dining area. Dine on freshly baked breads and local delicacies.

The local fisherman comes to your door on request to sell fresh seafood and you can purchase fresh and delicious fruit and vegetables at the local produce market.

Palm House

Palm House sleeps 9-10 people comfortably, with five rooms located around the house, connected by a courtyard in which a tall Pemba Island palm tree stands. The dining and living rooms look out onto the beautiful central space and the small, tropical side garden.

The ground floor has two double rooms and one triple room, all of which are spacious and elegantly decorated, and have en suite bathrooms. The top floor houses the master bedroom, with a four-poster bed and balconies on two sides.

The open terrace leads to a baraza sitting area. The sun beds and bar on the rooftop offer the perfect location from which to watch the sun set.
