The Albida Suite at Chongwe River Camp lies on the banks of the picturesque Chongwe and Zambezi rivers, providing a magnificent view of the escarpment to the north. The suite’s location at the confluence of two rivers offers magnificent views over the water and of the Zambezi escarpment. Ideal for families or small groups, the suite offers pure luxury while still retaining the spirit of the bush.

Activities at Chongwe River Camp are plentiful and diverse. Embark on a day or night game drive in the Lower Zambezi National Park to spot the large populations of lion and leopard. Set off on foot along the Chongwe River on a walking safari to search for the impressive herds of elephants. The area is also a birdwatcher's paradise with exceptional birdlife found along the riverbanks. River cruises or canoeing excursions are an exciting way to explore this area and offer a different perspective of the region.

Dining

Meals at Chongwe Albida Suite can either be enjoyed in solitude in the suite's private dining area. Alternatively, choose to dine at the main camp which offers a wide variety of dishes served alfresco at its outdoor dining table.

The owners of Chongwe River Camp occasionally surprise their guests with special dinners and picnics out in the bush.

Albida Suite

The Albida Suite is a stunning, self-contained tented suite, featuring a spacious lounge and dining area flanked by the two large octagonal-shaped bedrooms.

The bedrooms come furnished with a king-sized bed or two twin beds, and an overhead ceiling fan. Each room has an outdoor covered bathroom area which consists of twin vanities, shower, toilet, and a ball and claw bath.
