Situated just footsteps from Mombasa's famous Diani Beach, the Alfajiri Villas is a collection of three elegant villas offering award-winning service and luxurious private living. Overlooking the Indian Ocean, each villa has magnificent views and makes for a wonderful base from which to explore the area and discover just why this stretch of tropical coast is so popular.

The villas are for the exclusive use of their guests who can enjoy water-based activities such as scuba diving, fishing and snorkelling. Exciting land-based activities are also available and include horse riding, golf, yoga sessions and excursions to local villages - guests can even set out on a big game safari to Tsavo East National Park, situated a couple of hours drive away.

Alfajiri Villas can arrange exciting activities in the immediate area that include horse riding, scuba diving, kite surfing, deep-sea fishing and bird watching. You can also ask staff to arrange big game safaris in Tsavo East National Park, located a couple of hours inland.

Relax and sunbathe beside the swimming pool or take a short walk down to dazzling Diani Beach. Guests at the villa also enjoy access to a gym, sauna, steam bath and a nearby 18-hole golf course, while those travelling with children will be pleased to hear that child-minders are available day and night to look after the little ones.

Dining

Meals at Alfajiri Villas are all inclusive. The menu has a distinct Mediterranean influence with items like olive oil, Parma ham and various cheeses flown in weekly from Europe. Fresh seafood is brought up from the beach daily and Alfajiri's talented chefs create superb crab, prawn, lobster, octopus and fish dishes.

Fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables are sourced from local farms while a selection of fine wines from South Africa and Chile are offered to pair with your meal. Private dining is a la carte and served alfresco or in the villa - note that menus that can be tailored to suit your needs.

Garden Villa

The Alfajiri has three spacious villas - Garden, Cliff, and Beach - to choose from, each designed in a unique way.

Alfajiri Garden Villa accommodates eight guests in four spacious and elegant double bedrooms, each with their own mesmerising viewsover the Indian Ocean.

The rooms - decorated in both an African and Asian style - come with complete with air conditioning and mosquito nets.

Other Room Types

The four en suite bedrooms at Alfajiri Cliff Villa are exotically decorated with wooden carved Lamu doors and feature four-poster beds and mosquito nets. The rooms also have air conditioning and large windows allowing you to absorb the grand views of landscaped gardens and the Indian Ocean.

Alfajiri Beach Villa consists of four luxurious double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and two on the first floor - three bedrooms are air conditioned and also feature mosquito nets over the beds while the fourth bedroom has a fan and mosquito net.
