Serengeti Tented Camp is a small, secluded, and comfortable camp situated in a concession area located just outside the Serengeti National Park, home to the majestic wildebeest migration. Comprising of just 10 tents, the camp ensures a unique and exclusive experience within the renowned Serengeti. The camp is ideally located to witness the wildebeest migration, and in particular, the spectacular crossing of the crocodile-inhabited Grumeti River.
The Serengeti is however a great destination for year-round game viewing. Night drives are a must at the Serengeti Tented Camp. Be on the lookout for unusual nocturnal animals such as aardvark, African wild cat and bat-eared fox. Spend a morning on a bush walk through the acacia woodland and rippling grasses of the savannah where you might glimpse the spotted coat of a cheetah. Visit the nearby Robanda Village and spend some time chatting to the locals and learning about their history, culture and wildlife.
