Situated in the malaria-free Kariega Game Reserve, in the heart of the Eastern Cape, Ukhozi Lodge offers a luxurious and intimate stay. Ideal for romantics and nature-lovers, this lodge has only 10 suites and offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys.

The reserve spans five eco-systems and is home to over 25 species of game and more than 280 different birds, creating a wonderful place for game viewing and safari activities.Enjoy twice-daily game drives, river cruises, walking safaris, and canoeing trips to experience this pristine environment at its best. Explore the historic town of Grahamstown or spend a day at Kenton-on-Sea, with its vast stretches of white beaches.

Dining

Ukhozi Lodge has an on-site restaurant that will treat you with a wide variety of delectable local and international meals. Dine either in the restaurant itself, enjoying the social atmosphere, or outside around the boma for a more authentic African feel.

Luxury Suite

There are only 10 suites available at Ukhozi, accommodating a maximum of 20 guests. Each suite offers absolute privacy and is crafted out of timber, creating a warm and romantic feel.

Suites have king-sized bed or two twin beds, as well as an en suite bathroom with separate bath and shower. In addition, the suites are all equipped with air conditioning, internet connectivity, safe and telephone.

Walk out onto your private deck to enjoy beautiful views of the surrounds and take a dip in your private plunge pool to cool off after a day out in the sun.
