Situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, in heart of the Samburu National Reserve, the Elephant Bedroom Camp offers a unique African safari experience in a luxury, tented setting. Stay in spacious tents that are surrounded by doum palms and other beautiful indigenous trees which attract almost-daily visits by a herd of elephant.

Go on early morning and afternoon game drives to explore the incredible Samburu National Reserve, well known for its lion and leopard sightings. Enjoy a guided nature walk for a more intimate experience of the African bush. Interact with the local Samburu people, learn about their fascinating culture and treat yourself to a performance of traditional dancing.

Dining

The dining area boasts vibrant safari colours and original oil paintings. The decor and soft intimate lighting create a wonderful atmosphere in which to enjoy dinner after a day out in the bush.

Tuck into alfresco breakfasts, 3-course lunches and 4-course candle-lit gourmet dinners either inside this welcoming dining area or out beneath the star-studded African skies.

For a special treat, set out early in the morning on a game drive and enjoy breakfast in a secluded spot in the heart of the Kenyan wilderness.

Standard Tent

Elephant Bedroom Camp consists of only 12 tents, creating an intimate bush experience. Decorated in a rustic African fashion, your room offers all the amenities of a more modern bush camp, but with a warmer and more personal feel.

Out of the twelve tents, four are fitted with king-sized beds while the other eight have queen-sized beds. You'll always have running hot and cold water and electricity, as well as relaxing herbal bath products to enjoy.
