Situated on the banks of the Talek River and overlooking the vast plains of the Masai Mara, Tipilikwani Mara Camp is an exclusive and intimate tented safari camp on the eastern border of the Masai Mara National Reserve. Ideal for those who want an authentic Mara experience, the camp radiates the warmth of the local people and gives you ample opportunity to explore and learn about these incredible surroundings.

Get up early in the morning to go on thrilling game drives to spot the Big 5 and many other plains game and savannah wildlife. You could also enjoy a balloon safari one morning and enjoy a champagne breakfast as you land. Set out on walking safaris in the company of Maasai guides who will share their knowledge of these lands. Night time game drives will bring you to see some of the nocturnal animals and offer a completely different yet equally exciting experience.

Dining

The dining area at Tipilikwani Camp is a vibrant gathering place and features original oil paintings and soft intimate lighting - ideal for romantic evening dinners.

Dining is a wonderful experience with a delicious alfresco breakfast in the morning, followed by a 3-course lunch. Dinner is usually set in the open-sided dining area or outside under the Kenyan stars and offers a 4-course, candle-lit gourmet meal.

Standard Tent

The camp consists of only 20 riverfront tents, keeping it intimate and exclusive.

All the tents boast incredible views over the Mara plains and are spacious and stylishly decorated to suite your every. Each tent has either a king-sized bed or two twin beds and is decorated with rich, vibrant African colours to create a warm feeling. The en suite bathrooms feature a beautiful stand-alone bathroom.
