overview

Camp Kalahari's location on a private concession bordering the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park makes it the ideal base from which to experience a true African safari. Set among the acacias of Hyena Island, it is perfect for those in search of that unique combination of style, comfort, fun and adventure.

There's never a dull moment at Camp Kalahari, whether it's the wet or dry season. The camp's expert chef might just prepare his one-of-a-kind 'Pilli-Pilli Ho-Ho' for you - a lethal blend of chillies marinated in sherry and gin which you are sure to remember long after you've returned home.

Traveller Reviews

  • Camp Kalahari was our favourite of the holiday. Everyone over there was lovely, warm, welcoming and we had a great time - although it was very very warm over there (around 44 C in the shade). The food was brilliant, it was soooo delicious. What we really appreciated was the more personal yet still very professional approach - not like camps which have over 20 tents for example. We got to meet & greet the meerkats, which was a great experience :)
