  • The Z hotel in Zanzibar was a fantastic place, the service was just excellent, and I don't remember eating that well on holiday ever before. The hotel and rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the pool and beach were fantastic.

  • The Z Hotel was also lovely, super location, right on the beach with a pool if you didn't fancy the sea (there were a few small stingy things in the water which weren't a problem once you got used to them). We decided to upgrade the room to a sea view on arrival - extra $30 per night but definitely worth the money. The garden view room was on the ground floor and didn't have much view at all.
