Famous for its wide range of water sports, Baobab Beach Resort and Spa is an all-inclusive beachfront hotel situated on Diani Beach in Kenya. The hotel consists of three properties - The Boabab, The Maridadi and Kole Kole - and offers a selection of excellent, recently upgraded accommodation and is one of Kenya's leading "all-inclusive" beach hotels.

Set in lush tropical gardens, the hotel is situated on a cliff with fantastic views over Diani Beach and the Indian Ocean. Activities range from spa treatments and water sports to local excursions.

There is an activity for everyone at Baobab Resort. All-inclusive activities include access to two swimming pools and three all-weather tennis courts plus beach volley ball, archery, darts and a library. Other activities include water sports, big game fishing, golf, safaris and day trips to local places of interest.

The Afya Bora Wellness Club & Spa offers pampering spa treatments in a tropical oasis. The wellness centre includes a gym, steamroom, hydro bath, Vichy shower, outside jacuzzi and a hair salon.

As the African sun sets, Baobab Beach Resort comes alive with evening entertainment for the whole family at the 700-seater Porini Ampitheatre. Internationally trained performers entertain guests in cultural, acrobatic and sound and light shows as well as themed nights.

Dining

The three restaurants at Baobab Beach Resort offer a delectable range of international, African and seafood dishes. You can enjoy a scrumptious buffet-style breakfast at the Karibu Restaurant, a casual light lunch at the Maridadi Restaurant and an a la carte seafood dinner in the Marhaba Restaurant.

There are plenty of other options too: order a refreshing drink from the comfort of your lounger at the Jambo Pool Bar, have a snack at the Tapa Tapa Bar before lunch and sip on a sundowner drink in the Swahili Lounge in anticipation of the vibrant tropical nightlife soon to unfold.

Garden View Bungalow

The Baobab Beach Resort has 87 sea-facing rooms in the Baobab Main Building while 68 rooms with garden views make up the Baobab Garden Bungalows and 28 rooms with partial sea views comprise the Baobab Superior Bungalows. The newly built Maridari Wing has 36 Superior Rooms, 8 Deluxe Rooms and 12 Deluxe Bungalows.

All the rooms come with a partial sea view or a view overlooking the cascading pool. All the rooms at the resort have en-suite bathrooms, a balcony or terrace while guests with disabilities are also catered for.
