Khwai River Lodge is positioned on the edge of a leadwood and fig tree forest, overlooking the Khwai River floodplains and Moremi Wildlife Reserve. The camp is raised on stilts and features large timber decks – perfect for enjoying the view. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered, while at night guests can enjoy night drives and star gazing. Cultural visits to a local village provide fascinating insight into African life.

For those wanting a true outdoor experience, guided safari walks along the Khwai River are offered, and are a truly great way to experience the Okavango Delta wilderness more intimately. The camp also offers a hide overlooking the floodplains, as well as a gym and spa facilities.

Khwai Tented Camp offers a large wooden viewing deck where you can kick back with a refreshing drink to admire the view over the floodplains.

Dining

Meals at Khwai Tented Camp are served in the covered dining room. Enjoy an early morning breakfast before the first outing, followed by a delicious brunch on return. Dinner is a more lavish 3-course affair that awaits you after your late afternoon game drive.

Luxury Tent

Khwai River Lodge is perfectly designed to blend into the surrounding environment. All luxury tents are housed on raised wooden platforms, offering great views, and are shaded by a traditional African thatch roof.

Khwai has six twin-bedded Meru-style tents with private en suite bathrooms, flushing toilets, and hot bucket showers. Furnishings include large mirrors, hammocks, and antique loungers.
