Situated in one of the most remote areas of Mana Pools in northern Zimbabwe, Kanga Bush Camp is a truly remote camp offering an exclusive experience of this untouched wilderness. Kanga Bush Camp is set one hour inland from the Lower Zambezi River, on the Kanga Pan which provides a regular watering point for many larger animals like elephant and buffalo.

Mana Pools is one of Africa's most untamed parks; the camp itself has a resident lion pride that doesn't stray too far, and is also known for its superb Big 5 and wild dog sightings. Enjoy thrilling safari experiences and amazing night time encounters. Kanga Bush Camp offers the rare opportunity to engage with the Mana Pools wilderness in a beautiful and remote location.

Facilities

The main chill-out area is built on raised decking, under the shade of large trees. It overlooks the splash pool and Kanga pan, where abundant game can be viewed.

Dining

Home-cooked meals are enjoyed around a communal table that is also shared by the rangers and guides. By prior arrangements, guests can also elect to dine alfresco in the bush.

Standard Tent

The six meru-style tents are located under a Jackalberry tree on a raised deck for an elevated view of the Kanga Pan. These accommodate up to 12 guests at a time, and include a family option.

Each tent has its own en-suite bathroom comprising a flush toilet, and rustic outdoor shower, as well as a washbasin with hot and cold running water and a private veranda.
