Situated in a crowd-free private concession within Mana Pools in northern Zimbabwe, Kanga Bush Camp offers a truly exclusive, authentic safari experience in this untouched wilderness. The camp is set inland from the Lower Zambezi River, overlooking the Kanga Pan which provides a regular watering point for a wide range of game and birds, including elephants and wild dog, fish eagles and storks.

The main relaxation area is built on raised decking, under the shade of ancient Jackalberry trees. It overlooks the splash pool and Kanga pan, where abundant game can be viewed. Underneath the decking of the main lodge there is a hide with two arm chairs that allow you to view game activity over the pan.

Home-cooked meals are enjoyed around a communal table that is also shared by the rangers and guides. By prior arrangements, guests can also elect to dine alfresco in the bush.

Standard Tent

The six meru-style tents are located under Jackalberry trees on raised decks for an elevated view of Kanga Pan. These accommodate a maximum of 12 guests at a time, and include two family suites.

Each tent has its own outdoor en-suite bathroom comprising a flush toilet and rustic shower, as well as a washbasin with hot and cold running water and a private veranda. There is no roof over the bathroom - the whole of it is open to the sky and birdsong, which makes for very charming ablutions.
