Located on the edge of the Anderson Gate Entrance to the Etosha National Park, Taleni Etosha Village offers comfortable self-catering accommodation, and an ideal base of exploration for an Etosha safari. There are 40 self-contained units built from canvas on raised timber decks with open-air bathrooms inspired by kraal designs and annexed to each unit.

Many exciting activities are available here, including twice-daily game drive excursions to Etosha National Park in specially modified game-viewing vehicles. These trips last for approximately 6 hours and follow a route through the Andersson Gate to Okaukuejo and further on to various waterholes. Weather permitting, sundowner trips take guests to a nearby hill to enjoy a refreshing drink while watching an incredible sunset.

Facilities

Taleni Etosha Village offers a well-stocked convenience store that sells grocery supplies and fresh produce.

Taleni has two swimming pools, one earmarked for children, and an open-air bar that serves refreshments throughout the day. The bar also has satellite TV and 24-hour tea/coffee making facilities.

Dining

The self-contained units offer a small kitchenette with a washing up area, 2-plate hob, and an under-counter fridge as well as an outdoor barbeque area. Taleni also offers a restaurant serving fresh, buffet-style food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A bar facility serves refreshments throughout the day and the convenience store ensures that you never run out of fresh produce and groceries.

Standard Room

Built from canvas, on raised timber decks, Taleni Etosha Village's 40 accommodation units are arranged specifically to ensure total privacy.

The spacious tented bedrooms feature twin beds, an en suite bathroom, and open-air shower. There is also a small kitchenette, complete with a washing-up area, 2-plate hob, and under-counter fridge. Outside, there is a dining and barbeque area.
