Amara Selous offers game drives in the teeming Selous Game Reserve in specially designed 4x4 vehicles that feature open sides and raised seating for optimal viewing.

Walking safaris are guided by trained and armed experts while boating safaris are offered on the Ruaha River on custom-designed, game-viewing boats.

For families, Amara Selous also offers tailored children's safaris at the Amaradillo Kids Club - here children will learn about the environment and its wildlife in a fun and interactive way.

And after a day of adventure, relax beside the camp's refreshing swimming pool and soak up the views or just enjoy a rejuvenating spa treatment in the privacy and comfort of your own suite.

Amara Selous serves up delicious meals in wonderful, off-the beaten-path places: game drives may be accompanied by a sunrise bush breakfast or sundowner picnic while a scenic sunset boat safari may finish with a hearty bush dinner under a canopy of stars.

River Suites

Amara Selous offers 12 Suites with comfortable king-size beds, elegant stone-finished en suite bathrooms and air conditioning providing the ultimate in comfort.

Other features of each Suite include a private outdoor shower, a sole-use romantic rock pool set on a large wooden deck and fantastic views of the Great Ruaha River.
