Relax on the beautiful beaches on your doorstep, or cool off in the turquoise Indian Ocean. The nearby Sandies Tropical Village offers a range of water sports and fun activities. The water sports centre offers catamaran rides, wind surfing and sailing in the ocean. There is also a PADI dive centre which offers diving lessons and excursions, as well as snorkelling. Alternatively, play a game of beach volleyball or beach soccer.

The swimming pool is a wonderful place to cool off and interact with some of the other guests while enjoying fruit juices, snacks, tea and coffee and pastries from the Coconut Bar. Spirits and cocktails are available after 6pm.

The Mvua Spa specialises in Thalassotherapy - a therapeutic method in which is based on the beneficial properties of sea water. Enjoy these therapies and many other relaxing treatments at the beauty centre.

Dining

The Coconut Restaurant is a comfortable, spacious place to get together and enjoy a range of buffet meals from all over the world, with Italian food featuring the strongest. Vegetarian and diet options are also available on request.

The à la carte restaurant, Savannah  is located at the nearby Sandies Tropical Village and offers a varied menu specialising in fresh seafood.

Superior Pool View Room

Rooms at Sandies Coconut village are built in double-level bungalows, allowing you easy access and a charming, holiday feel. Rooms offer either a view over the pool and gardens or the beautiful Indian Ocean, and each private terrace has a comfortable African sofa for relaxation. The 33 Superior Pool View Rooms are only a stone's throw from the calming waters of the pool and are furnished with traditional Swahili items.

Each room features a queen-sized canopy bed that is draped in mosquito netting, as well as a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. The rooms are air-conditioned and have a ceiling fan and mini bar.
