Msambweni Beach House is a gorgeous hideaway on Kenya's South Coast of Mombasa with white walls that are off set beautifully against the deep blue sky & ocean and the flourishing gardens. This family owned and run beach house focuses on personalized service, luxury, romance and seclusion. Perched on a 40 feet cliff the views from Msambweni Beach House are breathtaking. Surrounded by 28 acres of natural land seclusion with access to 700 feet of private beach dotted with palm trees, Msambweni Beach House is a private and relaxing beach holiday destination.

Slip into the wonderful 25 meter infinity pool, take your drink to the end of the winding jetty & enjoy a delicious sundowner overlooking the Indian Ocean and the wide African sky. There are many activities to keep you busy - enjoy snorkeling, fishing with a local fisherman, kite surfing, wind surfing, beach volley ball and mountain biking. Or indulge in a relaxing massage, pedicure & manicure. Msambweni Beach House will happily arrange activities further afield; you can visit the Shimba Hills where you can enjoy a picnic lunch while looking out for sable antelope and elephant or visit Kisite Marine Park and dive with sea turtles, swim with dolphins & have lunch on Wasini Island.

Facilities

The main thatched building offers magnificent beach and ocean views from its arched terraces and imaginatively decorated sitting areas, a bar area and dining areas.

The expansive infinity pool stretches out from the beach house towards the Ocean views beyond, as does the winding wood jetting with it’s atmospheric fire pit overlooking the beach.

The restaurant at Msambweni Beach House has a delectable menu, incorporating seafood, Swahili, Belgian & French cuisine.

Dine next to the infinity pool with gentle candlelight under the stars or enjoy a beach barbeque. The Beach House will happily arrange romantic meals in other creative, secluded settings.

Ocean Suite

Decorated with Eastern touches and Swahili influences each of the rooms at Msambweni Beach House has been thoughtfully and uniquely decorated.

Each room is air conditioned with mosquito net-draped king size beds, a sunken Lamu bath and a separate shower.

The high-ceilinged suites in the main house are decorated in pure white linens and open onto private verandas with sea views.

There is a Luxury Tented Room that offers a romantic, safari-like escape with the luxuries of a four-poster bed, cotton drapes and decorated in neutral colours.

Close to the main house are the wonderfully private Lamu villas. Each with magnificent views from their private terrace, a private infinity swimming pool & jacuzzi facing the ocean.
