Facilities

The timber buildings of Massinga tastefully succeed in blending comfort and luxury with the surrounding natural beach environment.

The secluded lodge, just a few steps from the pristine Massinga Beach, offers two restaurants, a dining bar and lounge with internet access and satellite television, a dive pool and pool deck.

The lodge also offers in-room massage treatments and relaxation therapies, a games room for rainy days and many activities to keep you occupied ranging from deep-sea fishing to sea kayaking.

The PADI dive centre will happily arrange scuba dives and snorkelling excursions on the nearby reefs.

Dining

Massinga Beach Lodge offers two restaurants for your enjoyment: one for those laid-back days when you'd rather not put on your shoes, and the second for a more sophisticated dining experience. Both offer fresh seafood and delicious traditional Mozambican cuisine. Dining at the lodge is flexible; you could order your own afternoon tea, choose to dine in your room or have a picnic on the beach. Before or after your meal, watch - with a cocktail in hand - the sun go down over the waves or the stars twinkle above from the vantage point of the lounge, dining bar or on the pool deck.

Deluxe Room

Massinga Beach Lodge's 16 stylish and spacious Ocean Front Rooms bring the beach paradise inside with 180-degree sea views, a rain shower and free-standing bath opening to your private viewing deck and plunge pool.

All rooms are air conditioned, luxuriously appointed and have netted king-size beds and en suite bathrooms - extra touches include a tea and coffee station, room safe and stocked mini-bar.
