overview

Imababala Safari Lodge is a charming safari lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River with its own conservancy area allowing 4 x 4 game viewing & walking safaris with knowledgeable guides. Pontoon boat cruises on the Zambezi river give you ample and up-close opportunities to spot the various birdlife attracted by the papyrus, and magnificent wildlife such as elephants, hippos and baboons.

Go on a fishing expedition as the Zambezi is well-known for its tiger fish. Spot huge herds of elephants in Chobe National Park and take the opportunity to do an elephant-back safari at Imbabala's sister lodge, The Elephant Camp. You may also opt to travel further to Victoria Falls to see the magnificent waterfall and partake in the many adventure activities offered there.

Traveller Reviews

  • We had an amazing time on our trip. We loved every place that we stayed at. The food was delicious and the people were fantastic everywhere we went. The only change that we would make would be to stay longer!
