The Wildebeest Migration ranks as one of the most incredible natural sights on Earth and features on many a safari goers' ultimate bucket list. One of the best ways of ensuring great sightings of the passing gnu, gazelles and zebra is by joining a mobile camp that moves periodically to always be in proximity to the herds.

Kimondo Migration Camp is pitched in the famous Lamai Wedge of the northern Serengeti from July to November before moving to near Kusini in the south from December to March. In this way, you are always near the action: rutting, mating, river crossings or birthing. The Lamai Wedge is located between the Mara River and the Kenyan border, making a natural game 'hotspot'. In the south, camp is set up in a natural amphitheatre with excellent views of a popular waterhole.

Consisting of only very comfortable eight tents with bucket showers and flush toilets, Kimondo caters for safari lovers age five and up.

  • Set in the Serengeti’s game-rich hotspots
  • Excellent wildlife viewing of the Big 5
  • Very comfortable under-canvas accommodation
  • Witness the Wildebeest Migration & river crossings
