Experience a sumptuous and exclusive safari at Little Tubu Camp, tucked away deep in the Okavango Delta on a remote island in the Jao Private Concession. With only three tented suites and a family double tent available, Little Tubu offers small private groups and couples an unforgettable, highly personalised safari in one of Africa's best game viewing destinations. Usually accessed by air, Little Tubu is the sister camp to nearby Tubu Tree Camp and makes a perfect combination with a safari in the Chobe National Park.

The luxuriously furnished tents have raised viewing decks set amongst grand riverside trees, effectively creating a secluded haven for you to relax in peaceful privacy. Expertly-led game drives take you deep into the lush landscape in search of big cats, elephants and buffalo herds, while boat and canoe safaris explore the papyrus-lined waterways populated by lazy crocodiles and snorting hippo. A private concession means that Tubu offers exciting night drives, but for the ultimate wild experience, sleep under the stars on a platform hide overlooking the Delta's floodplains.

There are plenty of opportunities to relax in camp: dine in the dappled shade of the tree canopy as you watch animals roam the floodplain below, enjoy a drink at the unique bar set under a sprawling marula tree, or cool off in the pool as you soak up the spectacular views.

  • Romantic & intimate tented camp
  • Exclusive private reserve setting
  • Raised tented suites with viewing deck
  • Platform hide for game viewing & sleep-outs

Elevated walkways connect Little Tubu's cosily furnished tents to the camp's comfortable living and dining areas, which feature wide viewing decks to showcase the stunning vistas. Sip your favourite tipple at the bar, lose yourself in a book from the library, or cool off in the delightful pool as you soak up the spectacular Okavango Delta scenery.

A full range of safari activities is offered at Little Tubu. Morning, afternoon and early evening games drives take centre stage but - depending on seasonal water levels - exciting boat and canoe safaris are also offered along with guided nature walks and catch-and-release fishing. Guests can take advantage of the comfortable platform hide to spend a night under the stars in the midst of wild Africa, a once-in-a-lifetime adventure for safari-goers.

For younger guests, the Bush Buddy programme promises something for all ages and interests. A highly trained member of staff will guide children from six to 17 in a variety of pastimes such as treasure hunting, card making, dancing, drumming and frogging.
