About me

I lived on the Garden Route in George for most of my life but I've been living in Cape Town for the past two years. I love both the Garden Route and the Mother City as both are such stunning locations!

I love reading and travelling and doing activities such as shark-cage diving, hiking and wine tasting. I also love getting to know different travel destinations, the local people and culture and to experience everything possible. I enjoy visiting attractions that are not "on the map" as most of the time this is were you get some of the most memorable experiences.

Where have I travelled

I have been to Madikwe Game Reserve, Pilanesberg National Park, Sun City, Cape Town, the Cape Winelands, the Whale Coast and Garden Route and the Eastern Cape. I've also travelled to Namibia and Mozambique.

My favourite travel moment

Feeding the elephants at Pilanesberg. This was one of the most memorable moments of my life!

What I love about Africa

I love the diversity of our country: amazing coastal scenery on the one hand and the wild African bush and open plains on the other.

Some African travel advice

When packing for your African safari, it's best to pack for both seasons (cooler clothes and some warmer items) as Africa, and especially Cape Town, is known to have more than one season in a day!

Where I'd love to go next

I would love to go to Mauritius and Zanzibar!
