Bronwyn Taylor - Welcome to my profile!
I am a born and bred Capetonian and feel privileged to have grown up in such a stunning city. Ever since I can remember, I have had a passion for travel and exploring new places, and this is what prompted me to attain a Diploma in Travel and Tourism after school, and also what led me to move to the UK for four years.
I loved this opportunity as I was able to experience different cultures and broaden my horizons by travelling extensively throughout the United Kingdom and western Europe. There is, however, no place like home and I soon found myself been drawn back to the sunny shores of Cape Town.
Most weekends you will find me visiting different wine farms and restaurants, or finding a new corner of South Africa to explore.
Where I have travelled
In 2016 I undertook an incredible mobile camping trip to Botswana, taking in Chobe, Savute and the Okavango Delta, before finishing up at Victoria Falls. You can read about my experience in my blog post.
I have also been fortunate enough to two amazing trips to four of South Africa's top parks and reserves. Have a look at our South Africa Safari photos, featuring the Kruger National Park, Madikwe Private Game Reserve, the Eastern Cape and Pilanesberg National Park. I also travelled along the scenic Garden Route and ended with a safari in the Eastern Cape. Have a look at my trip photos here.
Locally, I have had the opportunity to explore the best of South Africa such as the Overberg, West Coast and Sun City.
In Africa, I have visited Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Mauritius and Madagascar.
Internationally, I have also been fortunate to travel most of the UK, Europe, the United States, Ireland, Scotland, the United Arab Emirates and Thailand.
My favourite travel moment
Definitely too many to mention but one of my biggest highlights was kayaking on Lake Malawi!
