Blog Posts & Recent Travels
I recently returned from an incredible mobile camping trip to Botswana, taking in Chobe, Savute and the Okavango Delta, before finishing off at Victoria Falls. You can read about my experience in my latest blog post.
I was also fortunate enough to enjoy two amazing trips last year, to four of South Africa's top parks and reserves. Have a look at our South Africa Safari photos, featuring Kruger, Madikwe, the Eastern Cape and Pilanesberg National Park.
We also travelled along the scenic Garden Route and ended with a safari in the Eastern Cape. Have a look our my trip photos here.
I am a born and bred Capetonian and feel privileged to have grown up in such a stunning city. Ever since I can remember I have had a passion for travel and exploring new places, and this is what prompted me to study a Diploma in Travel and Tourism after school, and this also what led me to move to the UK for 4 years.
I loved this opportunity as this is where I was able to experience different cultures and broaden my horizons by travelling extensively throughout the UK and Western Europe. However there is no place like home and I soon found myself been drawn back to the sunny shores of Cape Town.
Most weekends you will find me visiting different wine farms and restaurants, or trying to find a new corner of South Africa to explore.
Where have I travelled?
Locally I have had the opportunity to explore the best of South Africa such as the Overberg, West Coast, the Cape Winelands, the Garden Route, the Eastern Cape, Sun City, Madikwe and Pilanesberg.
In Africa - I have visited Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Mauritius and Madagascar
Internationally I have also been fortunate to travel most of the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Ireland, Scotland, United Arab Emirates and Thailand.
My favourite travel moment
Definitely too many to mention but two of my biggest highlights to date, are swimming with dolphins in Mauritius and kayaking Lake Malawi!
What I love about Africa
I love the diverse culture, the people and the amazing wildlife.
