My Travel Recommendations

I'd love to inspire you with my travel recommendations. From authentic tented safari camps all over Kenya and Tanzania, to trekking with the gorillas in Uganda, here are my favourites.

  • North Island Lodge

    North Island Lodge

    Location: Seychelles - Private Islands
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"Much loved by royalty and the stars alike, this is hands down the best private island and luxurious 5* lodge you could ever imagine! With only 11 Opulent and spacious villas, this uber luxury experience will leave you wanting for nothing. Superb hospitality and a completely all inclusive experience with all scuba diving courses, diving and half day fishing charters and activities on the Island, will provide the ideal Island getaway."

  • Kapama Karula

    Kapama Karula

    Location: South Africa - Kruger
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"I was quite impressed with Karula, they have gorgeous rooms looking over the Klaserie river, offering an intimate setting and a backdoor to the Big 5. Game-viewing was quite impressive, great property for romantics!"

  • Adventurer Private Kilimanjaro Lemosho Trek

    Kilimanjaro Trekking Lemosho

    Location: Tanzania - Kilimanjaro
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"Lemosho is my favourite for hikers wanting a less congested experience, offering less foot traffic, dramatic and diverse scenery en-route to the top. This is a great option for hikers who also want a better chance of reaching the summit."

  • Paradise Sun

    Paradise Sun

    Location: Seychelles - Praslin Island
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"Enjoy the gorgeous views of the tropical gardens and Indian ocean from simple yet tastefully designed rooms. Some excellent dive sites between 5-50 minute boat rides away. Beautiful sandy beaches and access to many activities and excursions for the actively inclined will keep you entertained. Otherwise sit back and relax and take in the Island experience on Praslin."

  • Le Repaire

    Le Repaire

Location: Seychelles - La Digue Island
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"Perfect for travellers looking for a small beach front, “feels like home” experience in a boutique hotel. Getting around is done primarily on foot or bicycle, making this a great retreat for those wishing to leave the busy city life behind and stay clear of crowds. Easy access to nearby Islands, hiking route or diving can be arranged."

Africa Safari Expert

As a photographer I often get stuck behind the lens. Take time out to just experience Africa, its sounds, smells, sights and its magic. You will be back before you know it.

Read what our Travellers have to say

She was very professional, knowledgeable, conscientious, and personable. She was a good listener and reader.  She read and translated my emails and desires into a great trip. She also had a good sense of humor. We had a great trip. Both Brad and I will think very fondly of Rwanda; the Gorillas and the people. Speaking of Brad, he did mention to  me that he was "very impressed" with Go2Africa. Between you and I, he is not a man of many words and can be difficult to please sometimes? Hence, those are high words of praise from him.  I want to reiterate what a pleasure it was to work with you on this itinerary.

Brad and I have done a lot of "weird travelling" (i.e. not the typical Mexico all inclusive holiday that Canadians tend to favor) and the biggest challenge is often communicating with our travel specialist/agent.  I cannot stress how important it is from my perspective that you READ all my comments and incorporated that information back into the itinerary.  That takes a lot skill (and patience) and is greatly appreciated from your clientele.  I had the same experience when I travelled to South African and Botswana last year and Catherine Fouche was the travel professional designing the trip. Go2Africa will continue to be my preferred company for African adventures. Thank you for arranging a great Rwandan experience.
