My Travel Recommendations

I'd love to inspire you with my travel recommendations. From authentic tented safari camps all over Kenya and Tanzania, to trekking with the gorillas in Uganda, here are my favourites.

  • Honeymoon Serengeti & Seychelles

    Honeymoon Serengeti & Seychelles

Location: Seychelles - Mahe Island, Tanzania - Serengeti, Tanzania - Lake Manyara, Tanzania - Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania - Arusha National Park
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"If I could re-do my honeymoon – this would be the itinerary I would choose. Enjoy a high-end yet great value safari that offers variety in accommodation from tented to luxury lodges in prime safari locations, followed by a dream island beach getaway! What better way to end off a big 5, migration, cats and crater safari than with your own villa on the cliffs on Mahe, overlooking a beautiful sandy white beach."

  • Adventurer Rwanda's Gorilla Tracking

    Adventurer Rwanda's Gorilla Tracking

Location: Rwanda - Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda - Kigali
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"This is definitely my favourite Rwandan Gorilla experience. Spending 3 nights on top of the world, looking out over the Volcanoes National Park and Crater lakes is any photographer or landscape admirer's dream, and will leave you wishing you had more time here! The views are phenomenal from the eco-friendly Virunga Lodge!"

  • Adventurer Uganda & Rwanda Gorilla Trek

    Uganda & Rwanda Primate Explorer

Location: Rwanda - Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda - Kigali, Uganda - Bwindi National Park
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"This trip combines three very distinct gorilla trekking locations from Northern Bwindi offering a combination of luxury forest floor tented accommodation in Buhoma, to a luxury lodge in Nkuringo, Southern Bwindi which overlooks Rwanda, and of course Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park itself. Perfect for adventure seekers that prefer a high level of service and hospitality as well as the best locations!"

  • Kyaninga Lodge

    Kyaninga Lodge

Location: Uganda - Queen Elizabeth National Park
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"The views of Lake Kyaninga with the Rwenzori Mountains in the backdrop, is enough to convince me that a stay at Kyaninga Lodge is required in any itinerary! With access to the Chimps in Kibale less than an hour away and opportunities to go cycling this is a great way to end or even start your Ugandan adventure."

  • The Boma Entebbe

    The Boma Entebbe Expert Opinion

    Location: Uganda - Entebbe
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"The Boma is so convenient when arriving late into Entebbe and leaving very early the next day. This guesthouse is only a few minutes from the International Airport and will ensure you have a comfortable and clean overnight stay before heading on to the Gorillas or the National Parks."

Africa Safari Expert

As a photographer I often get stuck behind the lens. Take time out to just experience Africa, its sounds, smells, sights and its magic. You will be back before you know it.

Read what our Travellers have to say

I have to say, I have never dealt with someone more patient and accommodating than yourself! You must have had so many changes and requests and questions from everyone, but always felt everything was fine and okay. The documentation was very clear and everything that was provided was very helpful. We had no issues whatsoever. I will definitely be calling on you again to book my next Africa trip, as well as recommending you to all our friends. Was a pleasure dealing with you and honestly felt like we knew you when we actually got to meet you at the wedding! Thank you Emma.
