We had a wonderful trip and are especially thankful for all of your help in getting our luggage delivered. I can only imagine how difficult it would have been without your help. Our cellphones don’t carry international service so we really would have at a loss. The lodge staff at Volcanoes National were also extremely helpful. All of your advice and guidance in planning our trip was just wonderful. You gave us options, let us know when a first choice perhaps would not have been the best choice and guided us every step of the way. We really did have a trip of a lifetime.Stephanie Olson - August 2016
Both houses felt like home while we were there and the staff made sure we had all the privacy we wanted but were nearby if we needed them. This concept really worked well for our family and has spoiled us forever. Besides the personal house concept our itinerary was what also made this trip exceptional. The combination of the Ocean House and all that De Hoop has to offer and the River House and big game viewing is a perfect match. Thank you Bonita for making this trip a trip of a life time and one my family will never forget.Joy Yokoyama - August 2016
Dear Bonita, We had a wonderful trip to Kenya and Tanzania. Our honeymoon was everything we had hoped for and more. The destinations were fascinating, the accommodations were luxurious, the staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the transfers went smoothly. We were fortunate to see some amazing wildlife including all of the Big 5, a large river crossing and the tree-climbing lions at Lake Manyara. The hot-air balloon was also a very special experience. We have returned from our trip with many wonderful memories and beautiful photos to share with our friends and family. Thank you so much for all your help! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Go2Africa to anyone we know that wants to plan a safari adventure in the future. Sincerely, Greg & Katie.Gregory Postyn - August 2016
Hi Bonita. Thanks for arranging the amazing trip for us. We were impressed by how well everything was coordinated. All the pick ups, accommodation arrangements went so smoothly - no hiccups. We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed ourselves. Africa was great - the rest of the world pales in comparison! We were able to see all of the Big 5 as well as the Ugly 5! The only things we missed were the hippos and wild dogs. However we had a fantastic time and will need to come back again!
What stood out for us? African hospitality - everywhere we went we were so warmly received. The smiles, jokes, personal touch and attention to detail we received in all our camps/lodges was memorable. Etali, Stanley and Camp Moremi - we enjoyed ourselves at all three places. The accommodation you arranged for us everywhere was great and suited us as a family. I'll definitely recommend you and the places we visited to our friends and family and probably contact you again ourselves hopefully in the near future. Thanks again for a great trip.Beena Ahmed - July 2016
The safari was fabulous. We enjoyed every minute. It was good to put Xudum first and then Sandibe as the latter is fancier. However, both were fantastic and the trackers at Xudum were really good. Accommodation food and service all up to scratch. However, the safari at Xudum exceeded all expectations: we were having the obligatory drinks one evening as the sun went down by a water pool. The table was set up, rug on the grounds, chairs for us and all the rest you know. Across the other side of the pool were three lionesses lounging around. We kept enjoying our drinks and snacks. They started to come some distance round the pool and got ever increasingly close. We all jumped back in the landrover as they approached. The guys had set up some paraffin lamps around the rug on the ground but not lit them yet. There were about six. The lions came up to the lamps, about 5 metres from us at most. The first lion played around with one lamp for a while then lifted it by the handle and went off with it! The second lion did the same a minute or two later and followed the first to a grassy spot nearby where they continued playing with them. The third lion, yes believe it or not, did the same but kept it to herself.
We were all absolutely amazed. The lions played for quite a while till it was dark actually while we waited and then they went off to find some food.nThe guys rescued the slightly mangled lamps when it was safe to do so. Staggering it was. All good fun.Pam Humphreys - March 2016
