My Travel Recommendations

I'd love to inspire you with my travel recommendations. From authentic safari camps in northern Botswana to wilderness retreats in the heart of wild Namibia, here are my favourites.

  • Victoria Falls Hotel

    Victoria Falls Hotel

    Location: Zimbabwe - Victoria Falls
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"Staying at Victoria Falls Hotel is like stepping back in time. This hotel ticks all the boxes for me: perfect location walking distance from the Falls, high tea or cocktails on the veranda, art and history in the lounge and other public areas, and in true Zimbabwean style, friendly service."

  • Karen Blixen Coffee Garden & Cottages

Karen Blixen Coffee Garden & Cottages

    Location: Kenya - Nairobi
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"The tranquil setting, the quiet and beautiful gardens will ensure you have a good rest at Karen Blixen Coffee Garden & Cottages. This is a perfect place to either start or finish a safari holiday in Kenya. The cottages are spread among the trees, giving a feel of solitude. Staying here gives you the sense that you are much further out from the bustling city of Nairobi. Definitely try lunch at Tamambo next door!"

  • Okahirongo Elephant Lodge

    Okahirongo Elephant Lodge

    Location: Namibia - Kaokoveld
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"This lodge is situated in what is often called the last truly wild areas in Namibia. Here you can expect to see the desert adapted elephant, the only place in the world to see it. The lodge is in the Purros Conservancy and in a no-risk malaria area. Enjoy a siesta in your own private gazebo with day bed, or laze around the pool. This loge offers a luxury, desert experience."

  • The Olive Exclusive

    Olive Exclusive Boutique Hotel

    Location: Namibia - Windhoek
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"What a beautiful property in the heart of Windhoek's upmarket suburb of Klein-Windhoek. The suites are spacious, so tastefully decorated with lots of extras like your own laptop & free wifi, a coffee station that reminds of a little coffee bar, candles next to the bath. The food was fantastic, some of the best I've had in Windhoek. Service is personal & very good, without being in your face."

  • Wolwedans Dunes Camp

    Wolwedans Dune Camp

Location: Namibia - Sossusvlei, Namibia - Sossusvlei
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"The comfortable tents at Dune Camp are pitched on wooden platforms, and for the adventurous, sleeping outside under the stars is definitely safe! The public areas are intimate and cozy, with a very relaxed ambience. If you need to relax in a down-to-earth environment, then this is the camp for you!"

People will always have a yearning for Africa, the huge spaces, the wildlife, its pristine environments - it affirms that life is not always about materialism. And there's nothing I like more than when my customers share the same sentiments.

Read what our Travellers have to say

Now we are all back in Sweden after a very memorable trip! It was really an outstanding experience and we are all so happy that we have done this trip together that has given us memories that will have a special place in our hearts forever!

As last time, the arrangements were perfect; the staff were lovely, warm-hearted and committed; and we had great nature experiences!

We only had a struggle with Kenyan Airways who cancelled our flights twice, but we did not miss any safari nights.

Here in Sweden the winter is peaking now (minus 20C° a couple of nights ago!) but beautiful walks in the sun! We are also all back in business and university but with unforgettable memories in our minds!

Thanks again for your support and arrangements!
