My Travel Recommendations

I'd love to inspire you with my travel recommendations. From authentic safari camps in northern Botswana to wilderness retreats in the heart of wild Namibia, here are my favourites.

  • Little Kulala Lodge

    Little Kulala

    Location: Namibia - Sossusvlei
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"Definitely the place to stay for the discerning traveller wanting to see the magnificent red dunes of the Namib-Naukluft Park and Sossusvlei. Every suite offers a private plunge pool, outside shower and rooftop that is ideal for stargazing or sleeping out."

  • Wolwedans Dunes Camp

    Wolwedans Dune Camp

Location: Namibia - Sossusvlei, Namibia - Sossusvlei
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"The comfortable tents at Dune Camp are pitched on wooden platforms, and for the adventurous, sleeping outside under the stars is definitely safe! The public areas are intimate and cozy, with a very relaxed ambience. If you need to relax in a down-to-earth environment, then this is the camp for you!"

  • Onguma Tented Camp

    Onguma Luxury Tented Camp

    Location: Namibia - Etosha
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"The Herero word 'Onguma' means "The place you don't want to leave", and I can say this about this camp. A feeling of welcome & warmth envelopes you from the moment you walk through the entrance. The tents are built in a U-shape around the waterhole, offering both privacy and fantastic views. Onguma Tented Camp certainly creates a new standard for a luxury tented camp."

  • The Olive Exclusive

    Olive Exclusive Boutique Hotel

    Location: Namibia - Windhoek
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"What a beautiful property in the heart of Windhoek's upmarket suburb of Klein-Windhoek. The suites are spacious, so tastefully decorated with lots of extras like your own laptop & free wifi, a coffee station that reminds of a little coffee bar, candles next to the bath. The food was fantastic, some of the best I've had in Windhoek. Service is personal & very good, without being in your face."

  • Okahirongo Elephant Lodge

    Okahirongo Elephant Lodge

    Location: Namibia - Kaokoveld
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"This lodge is situated in what is often called the last truly wild areas in Namibia. Here you can expect to see the desert adapted elephant, the only place in the world to see it. The lodge is in the Purros Conservancy and in a no-risk malaria area. Enjoy a siesta in your own private gazebo with day bed, or laze around the pool. This loge offers a luxury, desert experience."

Africa Safari Expert

People will always have a yearning for Africa, the huge spaces, the wildlife, its pristine environments - it affirms that life is not always about materialism. And there's nothing I like more than when my customers share the same sentiments.

Read what our Travellers have to say

Firstly, thank you very much for helping us put together this memorable holiday. Greatly appreciate your time & patience all through the planning - my delayed note to you in no way undermines how much I have appreciated the same. South Africa was expectedly great. Namibia I think is a little bit overhyped. Possibly, more so in our perceptions. I think there is too much gravel travelling & too few things far between. Relatively, less “efficient” if you know what I mean. Vic Falls was great as a place and we simply loved the insane fafting experience. Once again, thank you for everything.
