About Me

Fortunately, I have lived all my life in South Africa. I worked for South African Airways for 13 years before I started at Go2Africa, so I was afforded the opportunity to travel to many countries.

After my travels abroad, I realised that we truly have the most beautiful country and I've committed to exploring more of Africa every time I get the chance. I enjoy spending quality time with my family on family vacations, especially road trips to discover new 'gems'.

I am inspired by the transition and growth of this democratic country and what it has to offer from a tourism perspective. In the past, we were exempt from travelling or visiting certain places due to apartheid laws but now I am excited about the fact that I can now go and visit any area with no restrictions.

Where have I travelled

Locally, I have travelled through the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, KwaZulu Natal, Gauteng and North West provinces. In Africa I have visited Zambia and Zimbabwe, and internationally I have been to Mauritius, India, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Mauritius, the UK and Europe.

On the Zambezi River watching the sunset - I have never experienced such a picturesque moment in my life ever!

What I love about Africa

All our natural flora and fauna, our magnificent game viewing, our diversity and increasing change for the better day by day.

Some African travel advice

Always travel with sunscreen and peaked cap. No matter where in Africa you are, our sun is harsh, so it's best you have protection.
