My Travel Recommendations

I'd love to inspire you with my travel recommendations. From luxury fly-in Tanzania safaris to gorgeous beach-side retreats on Zanzibar, here are my favourites.

  • Mashariki Palace Hotel

    Mashariki Palace Hotel

    Location: Tanzania - Zanzibar

"Looking out over the neighbouring roofs from the upstairs restaurant at Mashariki Palace, you know you are in the heart of Stonetown, surrounded by the local culture and energy of this bustling city. The calm, cool interiors of this hotel give you a tranquil oasis to relax in between sight seeing."

  • Essque Zalu Zanzibar

East Africa - Essque Zalu Zanzibar

    Location: Tanzania - Zanzibar

"This resort provides a unique, contemporary and innovative experience - definitely not something I have seen in Zanzibar before; their Petit VIP Kids Club for example is a first for Zanzibar, and children can enjoy a range of extraordinary activities tailor-made for their age and interests. Ezzque Zala's superior rooms are very nice and spacious but it was their amazing 2 and 3-bedroom villas that took my breath away. Each one is like a large house, complete with private pool, lounge, dining room and even a private massage room!"

  • Adventurer Tanzania Guided Walking

    Adventurer Tanzania Guided Walking

Location: Tanzania - Tarangire, Tanzania - Serengeti, Tanzania - Kilimanjaro, Tanzania - Arusha, Tanzania - Ngorongoro Crater

"If you are looking for an active option with more than just game drives, then this is the tour for you. Each camp will give you the opportunity to enjoy a hike or walking safari with local guides in private concessions away from the crowds."

  • Entamanu Ngorongoro

    Entamanu Ngorongoro

    Location: Tanzania - Ngorongoro Crater

"The lodge features 6 rooms perched perfectly along the northwestern rim, set away from other mass lodges along the rim, with beautiful views."

  • The Z Hotel

    The Z Hotel

    Location: Tanzania - Zanzibar

"A chic and modern boutique hotel on the north coast, I would choose this resort for it's beachside location and vibrant atmosphere."

Read what our Travellers have to say

Just back yesterday afternoon. Had the trip of a lifetime. Words can't express how amazing it all was. All six of us, just couldn't believe how wonderful it was. By far the highlight was the safari in Lion Sands. Wow, just amazing.  We are now going through Safari withdrawal! The Narina Lodge was excellent on all accounts. It could not have been better. Walkerson's was amazing as well.  Just too short of a time there. Cape Town was nice, Hermanus was great. Plettenberg Bay was one of our favourites. The room and view were over the top and there was great coastal hiking. Thank you so very much and now we begin to plan our November trip!
