About Me

Born and bred in beautiful Cape Town, I am proud to say that after many years of travelling around the world, I have not seen a more beautiful city than my hometown! My likes and interests include anything outdoors and adventurous, eating, meeting people, watching the good old Stormers play a game of rugby, sitting next to a campfire, enjoying good company and exploring Africa!

Where have I travelled

In South Africa I've travelled to the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Garden Route, Sun City, Madikwe Game Reserve and Kruger National Park, while in Africa I've visited Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Zanzibar and Egypt.

Internationally I've travelled to the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Thailand, India, Malaysia, Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Mexico and mainland United States.

My favourite travel moment

I have too many favourite moments but the highlights would be riding a African elephant through Addo Elephant National Park; being up close and personal with a pride of lions in Madikwe Game Reserve; river rafting down the Zambezi River and snorkelling in Lake Malawi.

What I love about Africa

Wow, where do I begin...I have such a passion for this beautiful continent of ours! The natural beauty, the cultures, the amazing outdoor activities; there is so much history to explore and the fact that each country offers you a whole new exciting experience, there is no continent in the world that can offer you what AFRICA can!

Some African travel advice

Leave all your worries and stress behind and be prepared to let the natural beauty of Africa fill your soul and offer you a whole new perspection of what true living is all about. 'Hakuna Matata!'

Where I'd love to go next

The Okavango Delta in Botswana and then to East Africa to experience the amazing wildebeest migration!
