My Travel Recommendations

I'd love to inspire you with my travel recommendations. From authentic safari camps in the heart of the iconic Masai Mara to private, family-friendly Kenya safaris, here are my favourites.

  • Subeti Tented Camp

    Sebeti Tented Camp

    Location: Tanzania - Serengeti
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"The term “classic safari” comes to mind when I think of Subeti, located in a crowd free area near the Serengeti and crater a person can easily envision what safari was like in years gone by. This camp gets to the heart of what a safari is about: walking safaris, night game drives, passionate guides, beautiful and ever changing landscapes. This camp would absolutely meet the wishes of die hard safari fans and definitely wow anyone on their first trip to Africa."

  • Remote Kruger & Mozambique

    Remote Kruger & Mozambique

Location: Mozambique - Quirimbas, South Africa - Kruger
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"Emphasis is firmly on the best possible experiences - from dining under the star studded sky to incredible wildlife sightings. They talk of a trip of a lifetime – this is one of those!"

  • 8 Days Adventurer Kruger & Mozambique

    8 day Kruger & Mozambique

    Location:
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"A great pairing for a bush and beach vacation - astonishingly well priced, this is true value. The wildlife sightings from Lukimbi are excellent so you are in for a treat, and the views from Machangulo will surely delight."

  • Polana Serena Hotel

    Polana Serena Hotel

    Location: Mozambique, Mozambique
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"The Polana is a Maputo landmark! Noted for its design by Herbert Baker, this city hotel is perfectly accessed from the airport and harbour. If spending more than one night, do get out and explore Maputos shops which are within easy reach. My favourite spot was the Aquarius bar and restaurant which serves sushi and delicious cocktails, the views here are magic!"

  • Azura @ Quilalea Private Island

    Azura Quilalea

    Location: Mozambique - Quirimbas
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"A place that in one word can only be described as magic. Meals are enjoyed in a different location each evening, and the food can only be described as outrageously delicious. Romantics and honeymooners be warned, once you have visited this island chances are that you will return again and again – its really that good!"

Read what our Travellers have to say

Well you have done it again Lauren! We have just arrived home from the most fantastic trip. I cannot thank you enough for your planning this, especially the Pangolin Wildlife Safari Course. Janelle our tutor was just the best. We had perfect weather all the way with exceptional sightings on every safari. The only downfall was that we should have stayed longer at each camp especially Savute Safari Camp. The staff gave the two of us on our departing evening a special champagne candlelit dinner by ourselves overlooking the waterhole. What a treat. Once again many thanks.
