My Travel Recommendations

I'd love to inspire you with my travel recommendations. From authentic safari camps in the heart of the iconic Masai Mara to private, family-friendly Kenya safaris, here are my favourites.

  • 9-Day Kalahari, Okavango & Victoria Falls

9 Day Kalahari, Okavango & Victoria Falls

    Location: Botswana, Zambia
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"Escape to the wild! This tour encompasses everything an intrepid explorer could have on their wishlist. From the vast open spaces of the Kalahari to the majestic Victoria falls, this safari is topped as one of the best luxury experiences. Enjoy cultural encounters with the San bushmen, explore the waterways of the delta and finally relax at Toka Leya. A trip of a lifetime in every sense."

  • Polana Serena Hotel

    Polana Serena Hotel

    Location: Mozambique, Mozambique
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"The Polana is a Maputo landmark! Noted for its design by Herbert Baker, this city hotel is perfectly accessed from the airport and harbour. If spending more than one night, do get out and explore Maputos shops which are within easy reach. My favourite spot was the Aquarius bar and restaurant which serves sushi and delicious cocktails, the views here are magic!"

  • Massinga Beach Lodge

    Massinga Beach Lodge

    Location: Mozambique - Inhambane
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"So remote that one can easily walk for hours on the endless beaches and only pass the occasional fisherman. The emphasis on a holiday here is to truly unwind and switch off, but if you are the type to keep a bit more active when on holiday, then there are plenty of excursions from cycling the beach to visiting nearby towns for a closer look at local culture."

  • Loisaba Starbeds

    Loisaba Starbeds

    Location: Kenya - Laikipia
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"Nodding off under the African night sky and waking up to the most spectacular views of the bush at sunrise - Safari bliss as far as I’m concerned. Hugely popular with honeymooners and families alike, Starbeds will be a highlight of your time in Kenya. Little known Loisaba is well kept secret where those “in the know” return over and over again – a must for the intrepid safari traveller looking for an experience that is unusual, off the beaten path and completely unique in Kenya."

  • Loisaba Tented Camp

    Loisaba Tented Camp

    Location: Kenya - Laikipia
    WHY I RECOMMEND IT

"Loisaba is an place you cannot help but fall in love with! This tented camp with its panoramic views over the waterhole is a truly unique luxury experience. A place that is in total harmony with its natural surrounds, your days will be filled with activities from game drives to lion tracking, horse riding to guided walks but one would just as easily while away your day at camp and wait for wildlife to wander past. For families, couples, active travellers and those interested in cultural and conservation; Loisaba will steal your heart for sure."

Read what our Travellers have to say

Well you have done it again Lauren! We have just arrived home from the most fantastic trip. I cannot thank you enough for your planning this, especially the Pangolin Wildlife Safari Course. Janelle our tutor was just the best. We had perfect weather all the way with exceptional sightings on every safari. The only downfall was that we should have stayed longer at each camp especially Savute Safari Camp. The staff gave the two of us on our departing evening a special champagne candlelit dinner by ourselves overlooking the waterhole. What a treat. Once again many thanks.
