Robyn De Jager

Robyn has travelled throughout Africa to places both significant and insignificant, and yet her inquisitive nature seems to uncover something valuable from even the most obscure travel experience. Perhaps it's her small-town background that allows her to appreciate life in both the adventurous and unadventurous times.

The ability to refuse to be bored and a willingness never to be at home mean Robyn is always rushing out the door on some new adventure. She is fiercely determined, impulsive, and a big believer in sweet-tooth living. Current addictions included jelly tots, chocolate, and coca cola.

Robyn also has many of us at Go2Africa convinced that sleep is overrated. When not working late, her foot endlessly tapping under her desk, Robyn can be found running around the city with her friends, enjoying one of Cape Town's frantic and fun-fuelled summer nights.

Robyn's idea of the perfect holiday: a hot-air balloon adventure in East Africa, followed by a safari in Botswana, then some quiet alone-time sitting atop the dunes in Namibia before racing back home just in time for sundowners with the girls.

She is also the title holder of coolest surname at Go2Africa.

Qualifications

National and International Diploma in Travel and Tourism.

Travel experience

Sun City, Pilanesberg, Madikwe, Kruger National Park, Sabi Sands, the Garden Route, West Coast and Mauritius.

Dream destinations

Zanzibar, Botswana, Mozambique and Namibia.
