Activities

andBeyond 's lodges and elegant tented camps offer guests a number of activities that will make your experience of the wildlife and wilderness areas of Africa meaningful and memorable.

If you have a particular interest - if you're an avid photographer, or a keen birdwatcher, for instance - the staff will ensure you're taken on drives, walking safaris or on mobile camping safaris that will cater for this.

Some of the lodges offer open-air gyms, trips to explore local rock art treasure troves and other activities. Wherever you do stay you will have the option of a romantic bush dinner or a breakfast spread set out in the wilderness.

Food and Wine

Conservation

andBeyond contributes around US$16 000 annually in subscriptions to a variety of conservation NGOs, and independent research or conservation projects.

In addition to financial support, andBeyond is invoved in data gathering and research in the reserves in which they operate. Recent successful projects include leopard monitoring at Phinda which has led to a reduction in leopard trophy hunting, protection and monitoring of Green Turtles on Mnemba Island, and the reintroduction of endangered wild dogs at Kwandwe.

The company runs two full time ranger training schools, one at Phinda in South Africa, and the other at Klein's Camp in Tanzania.
