Ichingo River Lodge sits under the shade of riverine forest trees, on a secluded stretch of the Chobe River on the Namibian side. This remote lodge is accessed by a short boat ride from Botswana along the Chobe River.

A spacious lounge, bar and open-air dining area have been designed to blend into the environment, where you can enjoy your surroundings in comfort. Spend an afternoon observing the birds and game coming to drink from the river, as you lounge on a comfy sofa.

Activities at Ichingo River Lodge are varied, with a selection of both land and water-based activities for you to enjoy. Bird life is prolific in the area, with over 500 resident species.

For a taste of the island's culture, walking safaris to local villages will give you the opportunity to meet the local people and learn about the area's history. Game-viewing is excellent in the area, and being on the riverbank, the wildlife is right on your doorstep.

Brunch at Ichingo River Lodge is served after your morning activities. Dinner is a 3 course affair, which can be enjoyed in the open-air dining area.

On request, a braai (barbecue) can be arranged, where you can enjoy a traditional meal under the stars.

Ichingo River Lodge has 9 meru safari tents. Each tent has its own en-suite bathroom, and a private balcony providing excellent views of the Chobe River.
