Muchenje Lodge offers unique safari experiences for those new to Africa and those returning for more adventure. This owner-run and managed lodge pays much attention to detail, from the decor and accommodation to the service.

With beautiful panoramic views, the central lodge is the heart of Muchenje where you can relax in the lounge, bar or lookout platform. It features a dining area, bar, reception, curio shop, game viewing platform and library.

The feature swimming pool is built amongst natural rock formations, making a late afternoon dip a pleasure as you watch the sun set. A river cruise past a group of elephants and hippo is also an incredible way of experiencing Chobe's beauty.

Muchenje's walking safaris allow you to explore the intricacies of the bush as they give you the chance to study animal behaviour, plants, insects as well as big game.

You could also opt for the game drives, which are private safaris that are conducted in open Land Rovers with qualified, professional guides.

The 10 twin-bedded thatched chalets, all with en-suite facilities, are sited on the escarpment's edge, all with their own balcony and unique view.
